Antarctic season 2009-10

During the Antarctic season of 2009-10, I will be EL (expedition leader) on the following voyages:

• 03-15 December 2009: Antarktic Peninsula, focussing on the Weddell Sea (ice permitting) on board MV Professor Molchanov
• 15 December 2009 - 05 January 2010: Falkland Islands - South Georgia - Antarctic Peninsula on board MV Professor Molchanov
• And then the maiden voyage of the new MV Plancius to the Falkland Islands - South Georgia - Antarctic Peninsula, 08 - 26 January 2010
  

Arctic season 2010

This time, I'll start with the highlight right at the beginning of the season: my own voyage "Spitsbergen under sails" on board the two-mast schooner Noorderlicht from 10 to 21 June 2010 (German speaking).
MV Quest, slightly larger than the Origo, is my next ship for another week: North Spitsbergen 05-12 July 2010 (probably English/Swedish)
I will then spend 4 weeks on the beautiful 3-mast sailing ship Antigua: Around Spitsbergen (ice permitting): 13 - 28 July Around Spitsbergen (ice permitting): 29 July - 13 August
Mid August until early/mid September is scheduled for a combined research and film project. Sorry, you can't join that one...
But you are more than welcome to join me and some more brave polar explorers who want to experience the transition from late summer to winter on board the sailing ship Antigua: 11-22 September 2010
